The Bachmann 32-429DS OO Gauge Class 24 BR Green "D5100" DCC Sound Diesel Locomotive is a highly detailed model of a British Rail (BR) Class 24 diesel locomotive in green livery. This locomotive is equipped with sound function and is DCC fitted, ensuring realistic operation on OO gauge model railway layouts. Designed to represent the era of British Rail (1967-1971), this Bachmann model accurately captures the charm and efficiency of steam trains from that time period, making it a must-have collectable for railway enthusiasts and model railway enthusiasts alike. The loco ran well in both directions during testing and sounds good.

Lights on the driving end have been upgraded to show marker lights as per the real thing. Detail also added to drivers end and etched name plates (Sir Peter Hendy) have been fitted. Note this does not come in the original box but has an older class 66 box I found. No detail pack included, only the instructions for the sound decoder are included.
