A nice clean Stanley no. 3 smoothing plane. In overall very nice condition. Iron looks good, bed is smooth. Tote and knob are good with a few small marks. Looks to retain nearly all of the original japanning.

The h1203 is comparable in size to the Stanley Bailey no. 3. I use a tuned up handyman no. Handyman planes just need a little more initial setup to be perfectly decent user tools. Looking at the last two photos, you can see the marker on the sole that I used to gauge the flatness.

Early Vintage Stanley Bailey No 5 Plane Type 7 1893-1899 - Low Knob Low front knob and has the 3 pat dates on the adjuster. Earlier type frog. Unfortunately the handle has been replaced with a plastic one. Has a Stanley made in England iron. Small break to the body at the front as shown in the photos, not massively noticeable. The plane has had a very simpatetic clean ,this was done to keep the darkness of the steel. All the brass has not been buffed to anything that looks like a shine. The iron is quiet worn with a very small amount of life left on it.

Very nice plane. Says 104 on one blade. Has the Baliley stamp on a blade. There are a couple lines in the handle you can see in the pictures. Wood is 20 x 3 x 1-5/8.

Early Antique Stanley Bailey No. 6 Lateral Adjustable Wood Plane TYPE 2, 18”x3”, Fluted. Please see all of the photos for the condition of this item. The wooden handle has been repaired but not refinished. The bottom surface is pitted from the rust that has been removed please see the photos. The blade has been sharpened with a file and should be continued using a stone.
