Antique 1920s Art Deco flapper necklace with rare ballotini ‘sugar’ glass beads. Ballotini beads are wooden beads covered in tiny ‘sugar’ glass beads for a glittered effect. Very rare to come by now. 84cm long with push clasp closure. Used - fair condition. This necklace has beads with red and white swirls but unfortunately they have seen a bit of deterioration over time and a few of the beads have flaked off patches or have brown marks. Please see pics. Price reflects this. Still lots of life left and a very striking antique piece.
