This Beswick Smew Duck figurine, model number 1522, is a beautiful addition to any collection of decorative pottery. Made by Peter Scott in Staffordshire, this ceramic figurine features intricate details that truly capture the essence of ducks. The production technique of pottery adds a unique touch to the figurine. Sadly, this lovely Duck has had two accidents to its head. I nearly placed it in the bin, but thought maybe someone out there is in need of a replacement head. You never know.

These are two handsome vintage mid century porcelain figurines of standing mallard drakes or ducks. They were made by Beswick in Staffordshire and each is impressed on the base, somewhat faintly, Beswick England and design number 756-2. The figurines are hand painted in blue, green and brown shades on white and glazed in high gloss. In very good condition with no chips or cracks. Each measures approx 5.3" high.
