A lovely vintage 8H. The serial number R28846 suggests it’s 1973 and it plays with all the expected brilliance of this era. Given its age the trombone is in remarkable condition but however, does show signs of wear and tear. There is a dent in the top of the bell section (shown in photo) and a few very small nics in the tuning slide but neither detract from its look. The slide is incredible if I’m completely honest but again shows signs of its age which again I’ve shown in the photos. These are easily cured at little expense. The 8H was given to me by my cousin who was at the Guildhall in the 1970s but has long since given up. I’ve been playing it instead of my own 88H but have decided to sell as I don’t really need two trombones (or do I). Comes with original case

In good mechanical condition. main slide and tuning slide both work well. case very solid and clean. cosmetically imperfect lacquer and a few dents (but none affecting the movement of the slides). all round a very solid and dependable beginner instrument. *** I may be able to bring it to you or meet you somewhere depending on where you are as I travel quite a lot. You would need to select 'collection in person' at checkout rather than delivery, please message in advance of bidding to see if this will be possible.

It features a sleek lacquered finish that not only adds to its aesthetic appeal but also protects the brass body and bell from wear. The single valve design facilitates easy playability, making it a great choice for those starting out or advancing their skills.
