This Ruby was brought to me by an elderly lady who’s father served in the Army in Burma at the turn of the century. Her father purchased the Rubyin Burma and on his return had it set in to a tie pin , which he wore for many years until his daughter inherited it. Eventually the ring was reset in to this básic 9ct gold setting, how ever this does not do it justice. This Burnese Ruby is of outstanding colour & clarity. To what we know about it’s a completly natural stone and has not been enhanced in any way. To the naked eye and through the loupe I could not see carbón spots or inclusions , but I am no profesional . Reset as a pendant or a ring in a higher purity gold or platinum this stone would pop. The current ring is a size Q and is fully hallmarked
