   RARE vintage marine aircraft tensiometer. Incredible condition for its age!! This was used in the 1940’s and 50’s for aircraft cable tensioning. Extremely rare not many of them around. It is pretty accurate and works as it should. Manufacturer: WAC Engineering Co., located in Dayton, Ohio. Model: Type C-8 Purpose: Measures tension in aircraft control cables. Range: The tool is designed for a range of 10 to 200 pounds of tension. Cable Sizes: It is compatible with cable sizes from 1/16 to 1/4 inch. Additional Information: The label also indicates that it is U.S. Property with a military specification number (MIL-T-7638) and government order and stock numbers, suggesting it was produced for military use.
