Captain’s desk chair in dark green and dark wood finish, studded detailing on backrest. Reclining, height-adjustable swivel chair on wheels. Has a plain seat and a button back, with the back and armrests atop 10 wooden columns. Measures roughly 64 x 57 x 87 cm (w/d/h). Made in Norway by Ring Mekanikk. Has signs of wear but solid and sturdy.

A 1920's oak captain's chair, with pierced splat (butler'shandle), spindle back, shaped seat and turned front legs joined by front turned stretchers. Very nicely aged and with a warming glow to the oak, especially on those curved, bentwood arms. The chair is well worn, with lots of signs of age. You could revarnish it, but I think the scratches and patina add to its charm. They are its story. Still sturdy, with a lot of life in it yet. 77cm tall at the back, 54cm wide and 54cm deep. The seat height is 43cm.
