The refresh rate can move freely in the range between 30Hz and 144Hz and adapt optimally in order to reproduce images that are free of interference and as sharp as possible. An alternative to avoid these artefacts without VRR would be to reduce the frame rate completely or to set a lower resolution, whereby the quality of the picture would suffer greatly. It is sufficient if the TV is connected to the network via cable, the AV receiver or Blu Ray player then receives the network via HDMI cable.
