This radiator not only looks great and gives off much more heat than a modern equivalent and is 100% period genuine. The oak cradle for it to sit in was handmade specifically for the radiator but really the radiator needs to be secured to the wall to make it safe which is why it's not sitting in the cradle in the photographs.

Colour is Matt black on cast iron but this can easily be buffed with grate polish for a more graphite / silver finish which is readily available online. This is a earlier Victorian fireplace with a kite stamp stamp circa 1860.
