This is an ideal starter telescope. There are four lenses in the accessory kit and a DVD of the skies, although a free app on your phone might be more useful. There are instructions available online, by searching 'Celestron Firstscope instructions' The accessory kit doesn't contain the bag or the pointer telescope. (I found the pointer telescope of little use, as I found the direction was easier to control simply by using the low magnifying lens first). This is a solid and very effective first telescope which is the perfect introduction to astronomy. It is simple and easy to use yet it shows clear detail.
