Audio embedding or de embedding at the transmitter side can easily be switched via the push button on the main unit while it supports audio de embedding at the receiver side to connect an audio source. PoC (Power over Cable) functionality provides additional flexibility. This allows power to be supplied alongside data through Cat.6 network cable in a point to point connection between the transmitter and receiver, meaning only a single power supply is required at the transmitter unit. Ideal when power outlets are limited at the receiver end of the installation. USB 2.0 ports allow for mouse, keyboard, and other devices to be connected to both units to control a source device such as a PC or laptop from each side of the installation. This Lindy 300m USB Cat.6 Extender extends the distance between a standard Human Interface Device and the computer up to distances of 300m. It is not suitable for keyboards or mice that require their own driver, however can be used with both standard and wireless USB mice and keyboards. This Extender is a two part hardware solution comprising a transmitter that connects directly to your computer and a receiver that connects to the USB HID device.
