   This is a one-of-a-kind three string cigar box guitar. The body comes from a large wooden box, which has been stained and aged. the sound holes have wire behind them, and a paint tin lid has been fitted, in order to provide a unique resonator-style sound. It has a beautiful cherry neck with blackwood fretless fretboard, and high quality strings and machine heads. inside the box are twin piezo pickups. Played acoustically, this has a great sound, but amped up, this is a really fun bit of kit. All of the Duke of Diddley's guitars are made to look like they have been found in a time-capsule of old plantations in which budding bluesmen made their own guitars in order to make their own unique music: the Blues!
