A very large original Clarice Cliff serving platter in the more unusual yellow colour way of the Cowslip pattern. It measures 15 inches wide and is heavy at 2kg (unpackaged). In very good condition with no chips, cracks or crazing, although I think it has had the top left corner restored (pic 3). There is missing green paint to parts of the edging. It is fully stamped to the reverse. There is an impressed date mark for November 1931 (11/31) to the shape, to which this 1933 pattern has been applied.

This Clarice Cliff Newport Pottery Vegetable Design Plate is a vintage ceramic piece hand-painted in a multicoloured pattern, measuring 8 inches wide and featuring a round shape. It is a unique handcrafted piece from the early 20th century, originating from the United Kingdom. The glossy finish and art pottery production style add to its charm, making it ideal for all occasions and adding a touch of nostalgia to any dining experience with its original design and production technique. The plate is part of a set that includes only this one piece and should be hand-washed to maintain its authenticity and beauty. Slight crazing to the underglaze and a very small chip as pictured
