A wonderful little Conway Stewart Dinkie 540 fountain pen in a pink/light purple marble effect, with a 14ct nib not clear what size nib but on dip test writes fine/medium with no issues noted. Comes with an original Conway Stewart, London box which is in good condition, with a small patch of colour loss on top right. There is some discolouration to clip and fill lever and pen will need an internal service . Please review all photos for your reference thanks

This Conway Stewart 475 fountain pen from the 1930s is in fully functioning condition. The ink sac is intact and the lever-fill works well. Like every 14 K gold nib I have tried of this era, it feels very flexible compared to later ones. The external condition of the pen is shown in the photographs. There are numerous slight marks of a pen that has been used for 90 years. The gold plate of the lever is in very good condition, however that of the clip is quite warn as shown in the photographs. Rather than receive negative feedback, any purchaser unhappy with their item may return the item in its original condition and receive a full refund.

From a small collection of pens I obtained recently, most appear to be in working order.

I believe this to be 1960s. Considering the age, the pen and box even are looking good for a 60 year old pen. Untested. I think the old ink sack is in the body as there is a rattle to it. Please examine the photos as they form part of the description
