This is a very early Swan electric kettle made of copper plated steel. Not sure of the date but from others I've looked at it's probably 1930s-1940s. It is sold as not working and without a lead for decorative purposes only. I have left it as found with original patina but it will polish up very well to a nice copper finish if you choose to do that.
