6. 2 Victorian copper saucepans

   2 Victorian copper saucepans. Two lovely Victorian copper sauce pans, one a small milk pan and one a sauce or coffee pan, they both have metal handles, the larger pan is lidded and has the original little wooden knob, they have lots of marks and dints, but that just adds to their character. Please see the photographers for condition. The lidded pan is 6.5” tall (not including the knob) x 6” base. The handle is 6”. The smaller pan is 3.5” tall x 5” across the base. The handle is 6”.

    I only wish I knew more of its history! I believe it is slightly thicker on the base. The cracks have all been scoured out and tinned. By the early 1900’s almost no chaudronniers would use this technique due to high costs and machine inventions.
