This dell was one of the affected with the battery swelling issue. I had it replaced under warranty by dell. with another battery that started swelling. They refused to replace the second one so it slightly pushed up the mouse area.

PC Specialist Gaming Laptop 17.3" i7 8700K GTX 1080 MXM 16GB DDR4 1TB SSD. When I got the machine, I gave it some new thermal paste, dusted out all the old dust and put PTM7950 thermal putty to replace the thermal pads. Perfectly capable laptop. Runs games well, has a great screen, has a desktop processor which is modular, and can be replaced with anything up to a 9900KS if you really want to. One of the USBs is a bit dodgy and the keyboard is relatively worn but it’s standard for the age of the machine. Windows 11 comes preinstalled. The graphics card can also be changed out for literally anything supporting that MXM format. Combined this makes this a really future-proof laptop with a LOT of life left in it.
