With the ability to extend signals up to 300m using the two included units, the transmitter can be easily connected to a variety of HDMI source devices such as PCs and laptops in a more convenient location, while the receiver can be placed in a suitable viewing area with a LFD (large format display), monitor or projector, ensuring there is no distraction from the display from bulky source devices. Featuring bi directional IR ports at both sides of the setup, the source equipment can be seamlessly controlled from the display side, and the display can also be controlled from the HDMI source device. An EDID emulator avoids compatibility issues between a source and display by providing fake or ghost EDID information. EDID is a data format that contains information regarding display characteristics, including screen size, resolution capabilities, frequency limits and more. Without this information a source signal cannot be displayed correctly. The Lindy DVI EDID Emulator is designed for systems that require EDID signals to be continuously provided without interruption and helps overcome EDID related problems which can occur when using AV KVM extenders, switches and splitters. It can also be used in place of a monitor to keep the graphics card of a PC or server awake for remote access via IP. With support for resolutions up to 2560x1600 60Hz, the emulator is suitable for use with legacy PCs and displays. When used with the Lindy EDID recorder (32120) this device can provide cloned EDID information to the graphics card. It is also possible to use the Emulator without cloning a display as it comes complete with pre set EDID data for the most commonly used resolution timing combinations, please see the Technical Information section for a full breakdown.

The Lindy 2 Port Automatic Optical Audio Switch allows users to connect two digital optical Toslink sources to a single optical TosLink (SPDIF) input on an AV amplifier, Hi Fi or home cinema system. The optical switch will automatically detect the live signal and switch to this channel. Ideal for use with games consoles, HD players, set top boxes, PC s etc. and saves on wear and tear of constant plugging and unplugging of cables. Please note: TosLink cables are not included.

The Lindy DVI EDID Emulator with Cloning is designed for systems that require EDID signals to be continuously provided without interruption and helps overcome EDID related problems which can occur when using AV KVM Extenders, Switches Splitters. It can also be used in place of a monitor to keep the PC or Server awake for remote access over IP. Problems can occur when using various AV devices such as KVM Switches, Splitters Extenders amongst others. These devices are often unable to pass the EDID information back to the source device. This emulator allows the user to clone the EDID information from a display which can be provided to the source prior to the installation of any intermediary devices. This Emulator also includes pre set EDID data which includes the most commonly used DVI resolutions and refresh rate combinations, which allows for simple installation as it can be used with many displays quickly without the need to clone EDID information.
