A rare ‘early Delftware’ majolica earthenware dish, beginning of the 17th century - possibly Rotterdam. Stylised Renaissance motifs. 24.5cm Restored. With multiple areas of addition and over colouring. Crazing, firing faults, chips. Looks possibly over washed with clear coat during restoration. Photos of the reverse show clearly the extent of restoration. Please check photos carefully.
