No remote Comes with only what is shown . The coal is loose so this will be bagged up for safe shipping. PAT tested When I first turned this on it smoked a fair bit due to dust build up, the smoke eventually stopped as it burnt away, this may happen when you receive it. I would recommend if possible to turn this on outside for the first time. It’s a bit noisy with the flame effect turned on.

ABOUT THE ITEM. It’s fully operational and working light and heating setting all works. This hasn’t been used that often it was more to look decorative in the other room in front of the open fire we covered for the light which made it more cost and very rarely used the heating setting as we used the main living room more which has a log burner in it so this has barely been used.
