This is my ninja 5, comes with the cage, it does work and I used it with a HDMI clamp, but if it isn’t used without a hdmi clamp the signal can flicker on and off really sensitively. So potentially the HDMI could do with being replaced or cleaned if you want it to operate perfectly ? I used it for more than a year like this for timing work and it is something I managed to work with.
