In the mid-1950s, Charles & Ray Eames introduced the groundbreaking Fiberglass Chairs, a pioneering use of the material in residential design. These chairs symbolized the enchantment of the 1950s, capturing the era's spirit of innovation and vibrant optimism. With their joyful colors, they injected fresh energy into the restrained interiors of the previous decade. This chair is in teal with black frame and maple runners. It is in very good condition The runners have some marks underneath from use and a scratch on one side of the runners (clearly shown in photos). This is a much loved piece used by all our family!

A beautiful all original Herman Miller RAR on a distinctive newer, used walnut RAR rocking base! The C with the five pointed star indicates this is a Cincinnati Milicron shell produced by Herman Miller between 1965 and 1978.
