Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 II Auto Focus Zoom Lens - the lens only functions in manual focus mode however it is perfectly functional in this mode. The lens has probably been dropped at some point because there is a filter missing its glass jammed in the filter thread which is cracked. However this filter should prevent the crack from widening. I believe it is this crack that prevents the auto focus working properly as the motor makes noise but doesn't always engage.
