VINTAGE INDUSTRIAL ELECTRIC BELL Mid 20th Century 14 inches (350mm) tall by 8 inches (200mm) wide, by 4 1/4 inches (110mm) deep, and is made from painted steel, with a 8 inch (200mm) diameter steel bell. Marked BRITISH MADE 3 screw holes for wall fastening. Ggood, antique condition with light wear consistent with its age. It has been tested with 240 volts A.C. mains electricity and gives a good, VERY LOUD ring. Please note; This item is sold as a collectors electrical item, for decorative and display purposes only. This is a great VINTAGE ELECTRIC BELL. In my estimation it dates from around the early 20th Century, circa 1920s, but please make up your own mind about this. The bell measures approx 7 inches (200mm) tall by 4 1/2 inches (115mm) wide, by 3 1/2 inches (90mm) deep, and is made from polished mahogany with a 2 1/4 inch (60mm) tall, conical brass bell. There are 2 hangers, for wall fastening. It is in good, antique condition with light wear consistent with its age. It has been tested with approx 10 volts D.C. and works as it should, with a good, loud ring. It is stamped on the back 200 OHMS. Please see the photos for condition and type. Weight approx 815 grams.
