    This 420 stand was based on the 418 & 419 model which did not have the attach mic clip like the 420. This early 420 was made of cast iron as where the later models were made of magnesium. The upper portion of the 420 mic stand with the clip is detachable via a single screw.

  8. Vintage 1970's Electro Voice 671A dynamic cardioid microphone Hi Z w accessories

    This was based on the similar 672A that had a lower pistol grip. Otherwise both microphones were basically identical in design. Pic # 2 the 672 model with the lower pistol grip. While these two mics are similar.the 672 is set at low impedance while the 671A is again, high impedance.
