This is a 1st generation (1950's era) Electro Voice 664 dynamic cardioid microphone. This piece has been thoroughly cleaned and turned into a high quality LED mic lamp. The microphone was made for almost 30 years and changed twice.

Very nice survivor. Would recommend restoring as it has not been used in many many years, but everything is there, including the original stand which is almost always missing. Very "rockabilly" in nature and it's omni-directional picking up a bit more background noise. The 3rd gen 630 was a 4 pin model allowing you to get either Hi Z or Low Z depending on your needs. You are looking at a classic older general purpose microphone made by Electro Voice in the 1940's & 60's though this is the 3rd generation 60's model.
