Epiphone Casino is used. A project machine inspired by John Lennon's favorite machine, the 1965 Casino. There is slight corrosion on the pickup cover and bridge. The frets have slight dents on the low position 2nd and 3rd strings, but this does not affect playability.

In 1968 when The Beatles were making theWhite Album, Lennon had the pick guard removed from his Casino and the body professionally sanded to bare wood and finished with two thin coats of lacquer.
