This is a copy of a map of the county of Essex, England by John Speed and was initially printed in the 1600's. There is a also a small plan of the town of Colchester on the map. The map is beautiful, the colours are vibrant and overall it's in very good condition.

This vintage map of Essex is a beautiful piece of history. With its antique charm and detailed depiction of the county. The map produced in the 1830's by Thomas Moule and has long been one of the most popular works of Victorian cartography. It features information about the county, including its natural features, towns, and villages. This map has been taken carefully from a book of maps printed c1990 and is in excellent condition.
