This is a stunning vintage mid century faenza pottery earthenware jug vase. It was made by Flora in Gouda, Netherlands and is painted on the base with shape number 1876 and Flora, Holland. The vase has a jug handle but no pouring lip. It has a pedestal base, bulbous body and flared neck. It is drip glazed in turquoise, cobalt blue and green with a little yellow, and has a partial high gloss glaze with light craquelure finish. In very good condition with no chips or cracks. Measures approx 8" high and 5" in diameter at its widest point.
