This is a beautiful fairyland lustre bowl with hummingbird design by Daisy Makeig Jones circa 1920. There is a very small area on the inner top rim which looks like there is a rub in the gilding and feels a little rough.

Here we have a beautiful Wedgwood Fairyland Lustre Octagonal Bowl made by the renowned designer, Daisy Makeig Jones. Fabulous colours & design all around this beautiful piece. On the outside, we have this mottled blue colour with chasing golden dragons & the inside has the most amazing array of coloured patterns on a shimmering background. It also has the Portland mark on the base together with number Z4829 by the look of it. Just a lovely Makeig Jones item for someone's collection.Thanks for looking.

Wedgewood fairy lustre bowl by Daisy Makeig-Jones , blue mottled exterior printed in gilt with bird of paradise & hummingbird bird. The rose pink interior with bird in yellow, mauve green & gilt to the well within a border of birds in flight and orange lustre to the rim . Portland vase Mark , 20.5cm diameter x 9.5 cm high , good condition no breaks or chips . This is quite a large bowl , I have a smaller one available also
