When you look at the specification it's clear why. The Fender Blues Junior also makes an excellent recording amp. Known for its excellent cleans, but also there is a Fat switch. This beefs the sound up considerably and adds more girth and dirt into the equation.

You can recycle the sockets from your old PCB or you can use new sockets. Our PCB is made from 1.6 mm FR4 (this is a better material than the synthetic resin bonded paper used in the FBJ), 2 oz copper traces (1 oz is standard), double-sided, and plated through holes.

Would consider swap for another tube amp only (preferably hand wired) Rare and wonderful classic Fender amp with a Celestion A type speaker. Sounds IMO much much nicer than the tweed models with Jensen speaker which I used to own. Has the real spring reverb and plenty EQ options. Sounds lovely down at volume 2 and powerfully lush when cranked. Perfect amount of distortion when utilising gain and fat switch, and very impressive cleans. A joy. Mint condition. The JJ EL84 has nice mids, sparkling highs and solid bottom end characterize this tube. The JJ 12AX7/ECC83 is a well balanced, higher gain preamp tube, that is not as noisy even given the larger plate structure.
