This ornate solid brass fire fender is very old, i've been told it's Georgian or possibly older. It has been kept polished and looked after very well. It's in very good condition for its age, there are a couple of breaks in the top trim a loose rivet at one end (which could be replaced or glued back in) and it's had a couple minor repairs over the years, as you can see in the pictures.
