Late Georgian / early Victorian cast iron hob grate front panel with ornate floral detail on the side sections and scrollwork to the lower bar. Recently refurbished, this involved stripping the piece back to bare metal, before protecting with two coats of Liberon iron polish and buffing to a dark graphite grey, which really highlights the detail (could be buffed to a higher shine, or blacked with another coat and not buffed).
