The optics are clear and fungus free. I always do my best to resolve any issues that arise. For Parts and Not Working: It doesn't work! Usually in this case I use the word 'general' for example a really nice lens in good condition but with a stuck diaphragm would be described as 'In good general condition but with a stuck diaphragm'.
