The First Fitting fits a standard HOZELOCK Coupling. GHT ( Garden Hose Thread ) originated in the USA and is much more course on the thread pitch than both NPT & BSP see pictures and chart below. The Second Fitting is 3/4 GHT Male x 1/2 NPT & BSP female its fits both.
