The blank color is a high gloss deep olive brown with a translucent finish. Each section is 0.80m in length. The tip is size is (1.36mm). To put it clearly, you have to know that the higher modulus carbon, the lighter and stiffer the blank is, which makes it more brittle and fragile.

The first is a Fibatube Fly #8/9/10 graphite carbon fibre 9'6" (290cm) rod. In good general condition with a few bits of lacquer missing, that does not affect the use of the rod. The whipping is good, but may need re-varnishing.
