We know quite alot about the problems experienced by other mass produced rod manufacturers and have turned the tables on them with this design! Most saltwater rods go up to 12-16wts and here lies the issue, if you want to contend with a large shark, yellow fin tuna or a marlin a 16wt blank JUST WILL NOT CUT IT!

The blank color is a high gloss deep olive brown with a translucent finish. Each section is 0.72m in length. The tip is size is (1.44mm). To put it clearly, you have to know that the higher modulus carbon, the lighter and stiffer the blank is, which makes it more brittle and fragile.
