To create a sustained bloom with woody spice, he contrasted Moroccan rose absolute and Bulgarian rose essence with cypriol oil, saffron and succulent bushman’s candle. The scent of sparkling pink pepper is immediately noticeable, but the initial sparkle of Amnesia Rose is soon replaced by a satiny density, which extends until it meets a dry and earthy cushion of labdanum, patchouli and oud.
