It is high in features such as its Program AE, 50x hyper zoom and plenty of manual / auto settings. The FXM16EK is compatible with the VHS-C tape format - new tape included. It looks great and produces superb results.

There's age related marks here and there but nothing that really stands out. Reads and tested playing multiple VHS-C tapes as should. Sound and picture playback clear. The Camcorder does not have a portable battery so cannot be used for portable recordings, but can be used to playback old tapes and output a video signal/watch on TV.
