Playing qualities. I have played the violin briefly to check the set-up and to assess the sound. The violin would be suitable for a beginner up to the grade 6 standard in my opinion. Although this violin is unlabelled it is a typical product of 1930s Germany.

This is a beautiful early 20th-century 4/4 full-size violin. It's a copy of a Stradivarius. "Copy of Stradivarius ". I believe this to be a later 19th-century German made copy, as if it were a real Stradivarius, we'd be at Sotherby's like Del Boy and Rodney.
