Well constructed 3 seater hardwood frame futon/sofa bed that we no longer have use for. Was only being used a couple of times a year. Note some marks on the top edge - see photos Bought in Bristol some years ago - probably from The Futon Company? Don't remember for sure. The futon mattress is traditional cotton wadding (no springs or foam) - was the 'luxury' option at the time (9 layers?). Covered in plain cream cotton. We had covered it with a throw, but you can get futon covers if desired.
