This lovely, delicate, detailed, handmade needlepoint rug has been cleaned after years of storage. It has a few very small spots of yarn loss from moth damage, which could be easily repaired. It is from England purchased in RI in the 1980s and never used. It measures 58” X 35.5”. The pattern includes two larger center floral arrangements in muted fall colors and a border of blocks of garden flowers around the center. It is very striking and pretty. The back is shown in photo 8 with faint signs of water damage, and the very slight insect damage is shown in the white spots and yarn loss in the last 4 photos 9-12.
