This turntable works mechanically but will need a new stylus. Now, it is housed in a heavy wooden box with a hinged lid. There is an amplifier in the box but obviously not original but it does power up and all the valves light up So I presume it does work. there are also two speakers in the box but not connected to anything. THE SALE IS FOR THE TURNTABLE, THE AMP ETC WILL JUST BE THROWN IN AS IT IS FIXED IN THE BOX. MIGHT BE A GOOD PROJECT FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS SOME ELECTROÑICS EXPERIENCE. This is a garrard 401 turntable in perfect working order. It's on a custom, made black quartz and cherry mahogany Plinth, please see all pictures as they do form part of the description. Shelling, due to it, not getting enough use. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask the cartridge on it is a satin Moving coil cartridge in good working order the arm is a SME 3009 mark 2 with removable head. Shell, which is the unmodified version as I say it is imperfect working order. It is an early one, as you can see from the flash strobe light this item I'm afraid will be collection. Only you can try out on-site before you take it. And cash on collection, I'm open to serious offers. Also fitted are fully adjustable isolation feet.

There are two spare armboards included. The plinth is a real thing of beauty, and very heavy. The photos don't do justice to the woodgrain and lacquer. The arm is an Acoustic Signature TA-2000, which despite what the box says does have silver wiring.
