It requires a degree of restoration; the brass banding is loose in places and parts of the veneer is missing to the base. Structurally sound. Stands on its original castors. Georgian Octagonal Mahogany Inlaid Tea Caddy Rare. Dimensions are 31.5 x 15.5 x 15.5 cm. There are two small historical honest repairs on the bottom left hand side and adjacent to the rear hinge. One of the lids does not remain in place. The other has a small inlaid veneer missing. The piece is offered in original patina so has scratches and knocks. Please see photos. The mixing bowl is a later addition. A lovely rare octagonal caddy that would immensely benefit from restoration.
