I have owned this 3m high solid tripod for a few years and it is very useful for video and photography and also as a mic boom. The monopod comes with the option foot / pedal which gives additional support. Please note that the locking screw thread on the foot is bent but still tightens properly and it would be easy to change. Also the plastic accessory which the pedal fixes to will slide off easily if the monopod is lifted up with the pedal pressed down. A very useful and solid piece of kit. Thanks for looking
