The Gold nugget has a very nice shape, with a generally smooth surface and a tiny speck of Quartz. The nugget can be expected to run between 18-21kt in purity. The nugget weighs 1.9grams, which does include the bail.

The chain is 19" long. The spring ring clasp is marked "1/20 14k GF.". The end of the chain is marked "14k GF" and has a maker's mark. The ring on the locket is marked "1/20 12 kt GF.". The necklace weighs 3.3 grams on my old gram scale.
