The Renown features the classic 7-ply Gretsch formula maple shells, with 30-degree bearing edges and exclusive “Silver Sealer” interiors. The 16 was the only 16 and the 13 I bought new (from Thomann) about a year ago, so they weren’t interchangeable.

It is an excellent kit, incredibly rugged, brilliant design. The kick legs will stick to any surface, you can tune the hell out of each drum and try varying and interesting tones, it's solid and rugged.

Gretsch USA Brooklyn drum kit 12 x 8 Tom with mount 14 x 14 floor Tom with legs 18 x 14 bass Bought new, but used sparingly, as have a few kits. Original permatone skins, apart from the bass. Has an Evan’s emad calf tone, as I prefer that sound. Really good condition. Not 100 I want to sell, so in no rush, if at all. Pick up due to weight and lack of care during transportation.
