Really nice hollow body guitar - (the G Series is the classic range and the 51 means hollow) the other Electromatics have a plank down the centre of the body. Factory fitted with a Bigsby tremolo. No real marks or dings on the body. Fitted with D’Addario 10s recently. Really low, fast action.

Beautiful Gretsch G5230T in red with Bigsby tremolo bar. Kept in good condition, but it has some minor scratches here n there as it’s been loved well (all cosmetic damage had been pictured throughout the listing). Scratch plate is missing, but I still have the silver arm that attaches it so a new one could be replaced very easily and cheaply (I preferred playing without it). The top strap peg is slightly wonky and has been fixed (shown in pictures), but is very strong and doesn’t affect use/playability at all. Everything else works like a charm and plays beautifully. I’m very sad to let her go, but I have too many guitars as it is! I hope she’ll go to a good home where she’ll be played the way she deserves. Wonderful piece of equipment, comes with original Gretsch hard case.

This is a great example of a limited run solid-body Gretsch that sounds as good as it looks. Upgraded with Gretsch G5400 Blacktop pick-ups, Switchcraft three-way toggle and a Gotoh GE103B-T Nashville-style Tune-o-matic bridge. Lovely condition with a couple of minor nicks and scratches, this has been well looked after in a home studio environment only. Reluctant sale, due to house one-in-one-out rule.
