For sale, my custom made Defurne "Red Thunder" archtop guitar. This is a model based on the Black Thunder guitar which was in Gerard's catalogue. It has an oval hole and the pickup is sitting on two internal braces with no contact to the guitar's top. The pickup is a Bare Knuckle humbucker. The guitar is 15" wide, parallel braced, spruce top, maple back and sides, ebony fretboard, bridge and tailpiece. Tuners are Schaller. The guitar is all hand carved. It has a rich acoustic and electric sound. Currently strung with Thomastik Bebop 12s strings. It comes with hard case. You are very welcome to come and try it if you are nearby. I can carefully pack it and post it in the UK. The guitar is in excellent condition, only selling it because sadly I will need the funds.
